DESCRIPTION:Join March On! for a conversation with Soul Science Lab and Isisara Bey on The Renaissance Mixtape\, commissioned by The Apollo. \n\n\n\n\nJoin us for a dynamic conversation with Soul Science Lab (Chen Lo & Asante Amin)\, the Brooklyn-based duo behind Renaissance Mixtape\, a groundbreaking musical commissioned by The Apollo Theater. \nSet within a live radio show\, Renaissance Mixtape explores where Black music\, art\, and innovation have been and where they are headed over the next 100 years. Blending Hip Hop\, Jazz\, Funk\, and immersive Visuals\, the work is a powerful meditation on Culture\, Memory\, and Imagination. \nTogether with March On! Artistic Director Isisara Bey\, the artists will reflect on their creative process\, the legacy of Black sound\, and storytelling as a tool for shaping the future. Soul Science Lab will also be live in the chat during the event\, engaging with audiences in real time.
