As the nation marks 250 years since the Declaration of Independence, March On! is proud to premiere a conversation with The Boston Sisters — Michon and Taquiena Boston, the real-life sisters behind the acclaimed podcast Historical Drama with The Boston Sisters®.
This event centers on their 2026 podcast series, Revolution to Rights: America at 250, a 10-episode journey through the films and miniseries that dramatize 250 years of Americans working to achieve, extend, and strengthen the rights named in the Declaration of Independence and later enshrined in the U.S. Constitution. Across the series, the Boston Sisters have talked with historians, curators, writers, and civic leaders about film titles like Lincoln, Harriet, Glory, Selma, Mrs. America, and John Adams — using each story as a window into a real chapter of the fight for freedom, and a mirror for the work still ahead.
This conversation brings that throughline into focus: what these stories teach us about how rights are won, who has had to fight hardest to secure them, and what it means to carry that work forward at this moment in the nation’s history.

Anthony Coley is a justice and legal affairs analyst, on-air contributor at MS Now, and founder of the public affairs consulting firm Corner Office Strategies. He previously led public affairs at the U.S. Department of Justice as Attorney General Merrick Garland's chief spokesman, where he received the department's highest honor, the Edmund J. Randolph Award. Earlier, he served at the U.S. Treasury Department and as communications director for the late Senator Edward M. Kennedy. Coley holds a B.A. from Morehouse College and an M.A. from George Washington University.
