FILM INFO

Vernon E. Williams

Recipient of the Eugene O’Neill Foundation’s Travis Bogard Artist in Residence Fellowship, Vernon wrote The Mayor Jones, originally as a play, and caught the eye of some of O’Neill’s most dedicated supporters. It was lauded as a fresh new take on an old classic after being performed at Miami University. Outside of The Mayor Jones, Vernon also wrote and produced A Year Ago Today, touching on the effects of grief and trauma in the lives of creatives, which went on to win 4 awards at the 48 Hour Film Festival. Vernon believes that every hidden story deserves to be told, and as the CEO of Muted Rays Melded Media, that is exactly what he intends to do.
